WWF Palo laziale
Located at km. 36 of the Via Aurelia between Ladispoli and Marina di San Nicola includes a forest of oaks, holm oaks and ash trees, a botanical garden with exotic species (here were filmed scenes for the film The Bible Eden director John Hudson), and an orchid garden.
Palo is one of the last stretches of lowland forest that covered the coast of Latium, of great natural interest, with an undergrowth of Mediterranean maquis.
There is a bird ringing station that allows stabilie their migratory routes.
E ‘was started a restoration project of the tortoise, the tortoise Hermann and stain flies one of the most beautiful butterflies in the Charaxes jasius.

How to get there: from Km 37 of the S.S. Aurelia, Ladispoli junction, then follow the signs to the WWF. By train: railway station Cerveteri-Ladispoli (about 1.5 km from the Oasis is reached pleasantly walk).
