The Rock of Cerveteri

La Rocca is the center of Cerveteri Medieval and includes, in addition to the castle itself, the part that originally constituted the ancient town, which has long called Flask. The XI century, is well equipped with crenellated walls, still existing, running along the perimeter of the tuff spur on which it stands.

In the area of Bottle, located below the castle, there is the remains of an ancient tower with a circular base, which dominates a large portion of land and sea. The current situation of the fortress is not the original one, having lost over the years its appearance of a fortified village. However inside, there are still those monuments and churches that have accompanied the history of the city.
