The Ghetto of Civitavecchia
The Ghetto of Civitavecchia Civitavecchia is a charming village that has its core in the square Antonio Fratti, historic square near the entrance to the Port of Civitavecchia Varco Fortress and the equally historic Corso Centocelle.
It was built at the end of the seventeenth century by Pope Innocent XII to accommodate the Jews which also never came.
To occupy the buildings of the ghetto were instead fishermen and workers from regino of Naples.
