Testaccio

The twentieth district of Rome Testaccio is known to be one of the diveritmento in Rome, as it is full of restaurants and taverns. This vocation has an ancient origin very practical, here was located the old slaughterhouse and nearby were the general markets of Via Ostiense. Today, however, Testaccio is also culture, as the old slaughterhouse has become a branch of the Macro, one called Macrofuture.
